  • Test CnP Account and upgrade tips

    Hello,

    I have installed the latest version of the CnP Payment Processing app into a Salesforce Sandbox (we are currently using v3.x in Production) in order to check out the changes and new features. Please could you set up a test account for me to try out the new version of the Virtual Terminal.

    Also, when I upgrade Production, is it only data in the Transactions object that will be affected? I'm ready to export the Transactions and re-import into the new version of the object, and recreate the information on the Transaction page layout that we've got used to seeing, that's fine. Anything else I should watch out for?

    The organization I'm working with is Shunpike.

    We are offering free upgrade assistance to all clients. We can upgrade your account and import all your data by Monday morning. Just let us know.

    As for a test account - please apply for an account online and request developer setup. We will simply set up the account to work as a test account using the 4111 card number.

      Thank you, but we'd like to do our own upgrade - it is our Salesforce instance, and was set up prior to installing CnP. I also have plenty of Salesforce data migration experience. Since Kamran had previously told me in another message that Transactions and Recurrings will be deleted in the install, and need to be recreated, that's what I'll go with.

      Thanks for the test account information - I'll work on that.
