Getting Error Message while posting donations from C&P to Salesforce

Hello Support Team,

I am getting the following error message from C&P when I try to make a donation from C&P page to Salesforce.

It seems to be an issue witht the workflow in the managed package according to the logs.

Following is the message that I am receiving:

Sorry, but we have encountered an error while posting the data to your Salesforce account. The following is the system error response:


"Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION, The Contact Id supplied in the Contact Id for Role field was invalid. Please use a valid Contact Id.: []"


Our developers have been notified and will evaluate the error shortly.

I have however not got any response from the developers.

All errors are reported to our development team for review & analysis but they will not necessarily respond if it is not a bug in our platform.

The error is stating that you have created a validation rule that is in violation of the kind of data we are posting. It is a custom validation that you have created and is blocking us from posting.

Please review all your validation rules or remove them prior to posting as a test. Once you have a successful test then start adding the validations and figure out what is going on. All data is in the C&P Data as XML so you can easily see the type of data we are posting.
