  • Upsert Failed when Merging a Temporary Contact to an Existing One

    Hi, I tried troubleshooting all possible issues related to this error message when I tried to merge a Temporary Contact with an existing one in my sandbox. I don't know if I missed a permission setting somewhere or a mapping. This is my first time setting up C&P, so I'm not sure what all I need to include in my Custom Mapping, if I've set up all the mappings on Contacts & Accounts and Opportunity. This is the error I am receiving:

    Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY, npsp.TDTM_Opportunity: execution of AfterInsert

    caused by: System.DmlException: Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_ON_CROSS_REFERENCE_ENTITY, insufficient access rights on cross-reference id: a0ef4000004ULzv: []

    Good day @DWhitig

    Would you please share the Sandbox OrgID and grant us login access as well as the username who is processing the temporary contact and order number of the temporary contact so that we can review it?

    Also, please share the ContactID to merge with.
