    I am new in reviewing your post so the timeline may not work in your case, but there was a key change Salesforce made in the Spring '21 release where they enforced "field-level security" in a way that changed how custom object access was granted.

    Prior to that release, customers needed to assign permission sets providing them access to the object that stores temporary contacts, and that access was sufficient for them to access the fields needed to process a Temporary Contact. But after that release, the permission set needed to grant that permission to each custom field on that object individually, regardless of the permission to the object 'as a whole'. You may have needed to upgrade to get a newer version of that permission set.

    YAY - User is able to process temporary contacts again! What was the solution? Was it something in the upgrade or were settings changed? Thanks, Sharon

    We have upgraded your instance to the latest version of our apps and reviewed the permissions.

    It is always best practice to re-establish the connection after each upgrade: http://cnp.ooo/Salesforce-Connection

    Please ask that user to process the temp contact and let us know if see any issues.

    An upgrade would be great! I granted a week's access, Salesforce.com Organization ID 00D41000001NzM1.

    I assigned the PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact permission set to the user ([email protected]). She logged out and back in and processed 2 temporary contacts (Christopher Bergeron and Ashley Coates). Neither created the donation record.

    What is the second permission set?

    Good day @Sharon

    Yes, the most common reason for that is the lack of permissions to the user. If you grant us login access to your instance and share the username so that we can review it. However, you may also try to assign the following two permission set to the user and check:

    PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact

    We also noticed that your instance is versions behind. If you grant us login access, we will upgrade your instance to the latest version and fix the issue with the user.

  • Temporary Contact donation not posting to SF for non-admin user

    When a non-admin user processes a temporary contact most of the data is created but the donation record is not. When the salesforce administrator processes temporary contacts everything works fine.

    This seems to have started with the SF Summer '21 release. Does this have anything to do with Site Guest User Permission's?
