Okay, thanks for confirming. I'll probably re-authenticate the connector just to be safe then.

    Good day @kwclick5

As far as I can tell from asking questions at Q&A sessions, our Salesforce connection with Connect will stay active and be connected even though my user (the connector user) will now require multifactor authentication.

    - Yes, that is correct. It works without any issues.

If I remove and re-add the connector (like for an upgrade), I will have to use multifactor authentication (like a code or pressing the security key, etc.). After I upgrade my user to multifactor authentication, can I just leave the connector, or would it be safest to remove and re-add it right away?

    - It is always best practice to re-establish the connection after each upgrade.

We have tested it by enabling multifactor authentication and so far we don't see any issues with multifactor authentication.

Just wanted to respond here again to see if you know of any problems with using C&P and Salesforce multifactor authentication.

    Salesforce Multifactor Authentication Update

As you probably are aware, Salesforce is going to be requiring multi factor authentication starting in February 2022.

As far as I can tell from asking questions at Q&A sessions, our Salesforce connection with Connect will stay active and be connected even though my user (the connector user) will now require multifactor authentication. If I remove and re-add the connector (like for an upgrade), I will have to use multifactor authentication (like a code or pressing the security key, etc.). After I upgrade my user to multifactor authentication, can I just leave the connector, or would it be safest to remove and re-add it right away?

Are there any other problems you know about with using C&P with multifactor authentication? I think I have seen some questions on other forums about Salesforce partners and the Login As feature which may make it more difficult for C&P to login to our instance to review issues as necessary.
