    Hello,

    I have a question about updating addresses in C&P. If I have a recurring donor who moves, I typically just update their address in Salesforce. Is it advantageous for me to also update this in the C&P web app?

    Hi andrea5j,

    By C&P web app, are your referring the CONNECT - the online administrative interface for your C&P Account? Or do you mean somewhere in the C&P Payment-as-a-Service app that has the Recurring Donations tab?

    In both cases, the answer is no. CONNECT is designed to manage transactions, not donors- you don't even have an option to modify it there. The address is essentially time-stamped by the transaction it is related to.

    In PaaS within Salesforce - the Recurring Donation record is tied to the Contact record - so updating the address on the Contact is all you need to do. If you are seeing the address as the old address rather than the new one, grab a screenshot - and we can explain why it may still appear as the old address.

      Perfect, that answers my question. I didn't know if maybe the zip not matching the billing credit card in CONNECT would mean that we were being charged higher fees or something.
