    Thanks so much!! I was able to make the changes in the C&P Settings and will let you know if we have any issues with the mapping moving forward. I appreciate the help!

    We have upgraded your instance with the beta version of PaaS and now you can save the custom mapping answer with "&" ampersand.

    We have made the changes and now the ampersand is allowed. It is in the beta version and if you allow us we will upgrade your instance with the beta release.

    Ah, yes, as of now, we are not allowing ampersand "&". You will need to change with text i.e. "and" in both places i.e forms as well as custom mapping.

    Sorry, I hadn't realized that the access had expired but I've reset it for a week. We do have the "Replace Text With" set as true. The problem is that when I try to change the "Answer" in C&P Settings to match the answers that are in the Connect campaign, Salesforce won't accept the answer if it has an '&' in it. Changing the answers that are just text works fine.

    Please note that you need to set the value as true for checked, and false for unchecked. However, we don't have access to your instance, please grant us login access and share the custom question order number so that we can review it.

    Sorry to have to post again; however, we are now having issues with the picklists. We have a section where people check a box to indicate their interest in a particular subject and it is no longer mapping properly. In trying to troubleshoot the issue, I discovered that there are instances where our custom mapping no longer matches exactly which explains the issue. However, in trying to update the C&P Settings in SF so that the answers do match, the system is rejecting answers with an ampersand in them. If I can't change it in the settings, I'll have to change every campaign's custom questions so I wanted to see if there was a way to be able to use the "&" instead.

    We have upgraded your instance as requested and fixed the issue with the mapping.

    IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: It is IMPORTANT that you re-establish connection to Salesforce. The connected user must have access to various objects and the following access levels:
    • Be an administrator
    • Have the following permission sets assigned:
      • PS-CnP-PaaS-Connected-User-ONLY
      • PS-CnP-Event-Connected-User-ONLY (If the event is installed)
    Establish connection with Salesforce: http://cnp.ooo/Salesforce-Connection

    NOTE: Please make sure that the user who is settling the temporary contacts must have the following permissions (in case of Semi-Automatic & Fully-automatic Contact Creation as well as Connected user) :
    • Field-Level Security set as Visible to the Opportunity objects standard fields i.e. Account Name, Amount, Lead Source, Primary Campaign Source, & Quantity.
    • Campaign creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Campaigns > check Read and Create permissions.) Note: Check the "Marketing User" checkbox on the user details page.
    • Case creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Case > check Read and Create permissions.)

    Custom questions not mapping

    We have two open-ended custom questions that are not mapping properly though our picklist and radio button questions are. The instructions in the Knowledge Base say to leave the answers blank on the Custom Question Map Field Settings but the system won't allow it; it inserts asterisks into the answer fields instead. I'm not sure if that is the problem or not, but I'd like to get the issue resolved.

    Please see the "If an Oakland Cemetery Member referred you to join please list their name" question of the "Donate" Connect campaign which is mapped to populate the "Referred by" field on the Contact record in SF. That does not happen which can be seen on the following orders: 20940-2011051012359907000, 20940-2010201511314923472 and 20940-2010151250489233014. As a caveat, the honoree names are correct on these opportunities only because I physically input the data; that question does not map properly either.

    Our org ID is 00D36000000vZDF and I've granted one week's access. Let me know if you need anything else to look into this matter. Thanks!
