C&P Temporary Contacts Insufficient Privileges

    We have assigned the permissions.

    FYI, here is what you need to do:

    Please make sure that the user who is settling the temporary contacts must have the following permissions (in case of Semi-Automatic & Fully-automatic Contact Creation as well as Connected user) :
    • Field-Level Security set as Visible to the Opportunity objects standard fields i.e. Account Name, Amount, Lead Source, Primary Campaign Source, & Quantity.
    • Campaign creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Campaigns > check Read and Create permissions.) Note: Check the "Marketing User" checkbox on the user details page.
    • Case creation permission needed for the user. (for assigning these permissions goto Profile > Edit > Standard Object Permissions > Case > check Read and Create permissions.
    Please ask the user to process temp contact and let us know if see any issues.

    Could you tell me to permissions you change for her so that I can change those for others who may need it also, please?

    I have the same issue, but the user has the marketing box ticked. Are there new permissions necessary? I just did the latest upgrade over the weekend, and now we cannot process our temporary contacts.

    Not C&P release but Salesforce Spring 21 update enforce us to make the changes in the permissions.

    Indeed! This seems like a new permission requirement for accessing C&P Temporary Contacts. Is that something new with the latest C&P release?

    We have checked the "Marketing User" for that user.

    Hello! I just checked and the error Insufficient privileges - CREATE: Campaign still remains. The other errors are gone. The user's profile has read/create/edit/delete/view all/modify all on Campaigns.

  • C&P Temporary Contacts Insufficient Privileges

    Since upgrading to the latest release, some users are getting Insufficient Privileges errors. They have the PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact permission set, access to the VisualForce page, read/create/edit access to Opportunities and Campaigns. But are getting the following message at the top of the screen when they open a Temporary Contact:
    Errors
    Insufficient privileges - CREATE: Opportunity.TotalOpportunityQuantity
    Insufficient privileges - UPDATE: Opportunity.TotalOpportunityQuantity
    Insufficient privileges - CREATE: Campaign

    Can you please help? My Org ID is 00D50000000cBTw and have granted login access. I'm a System Admin. One of our impacted users is [email protected]. Let me know if you need more information to look into this. Thank you. Kristen
