Setup default opportunity owner

Hi. I am the Salesforce admin who also manages C&P app. As the admin, all donations or opportunities are being assigned to me by default. I would like to have another user to be the default owner, but I can't find the setting or documentation on how to do it. This is wasting a lot of my time as every time there is a donation, I have to login and change the owner manually so that they can see it. Please help me, how do I change the default opportunity owner to another user?

What do you mean by "I have to login and change the owner manually so that they can see it" are other users unable to see the opportunities?

Please note that the API connected user will be the default record owner of the opportunity. If you would like to change the user then you need to establish the connection with the respective SF User in Connect >> Settings >> 3rd Party > Salesforce.

What do you mean by "I have to login and change the owner manually so that they can see it" are other users unable to see the opportunities? - I means I have to login to Salesforce and change the opportunity owner to someone else every time a donations is posted.

What can you recommend we do to change the opportunity owner automatically from the default owner to another user? I do not wish to change the API connected user at the moment.
