  • Add merge fields as Parameters in an embedded URL to a Connect form in Autoresponder?

    My initial experience was that this is not possible (when I tried to add a merge field, I got a "Must be in WYSIWYG mode" error), but I thought I'd ask if there is some fancy way to add merge fields to a URL that isn't listed in plain text (e.g. hyperlinked text that says something like "click here"). I know a workaround is just putting the long link in the email as text, but it would be really nice to make it more professional with hyperlinked text, so I'm asking if it's possible

    Good day @jillifoss

    I am not sure I fully understand your requirement but based on what I understood, we do have an option in C&P Designer templates (which used in C&P Autoresponder) where you can hyperlink to the text within the editor.

    However, if that doesn't make sense, please elaborate on your question a little more so that I can better assist you.

      In the Designer, you can't add merge fields when viewing the source code, however, I learned you can add them in the URL when hyperlinking the words. Here is the link I had set up: https://connect.clickandpledge.com/w/Form/79a646f7-7553-4440-af76-99c976d87cf1?em=<@BillingEmail>&fn={Contact.FirstN ame}&ln={Contact.LastName}

      Sorry I didn't try that before asking!
