  • Defaulting Installment Periods

I have a customer who is using Click & Pledge for a 5-year Campaign. Donors join at a certain level and commit to 5 years of giving at that level. The donor must signup for the 5 years in this scenario. My customer doesn't care if they use installments or subscriptions but they want to default the periods to 60 for monthly, 20 for quarterly, and 5 for yearly and not let the donor change that. Is there a way to do this?

Currently there is no way to hide the box that allows the Patron to set the number of payments. Your best option at the moment is to limit the number of payments or set an end date.

We do see a benefit to offering a way to set a default value and lock it. We are discussing internally how to best address this particular need, so I do anticipate we will have a better approach in the near future. I will let you know as soon as a plan is finalized.
