  • Can't find money or transaction records after successful gift

    My client Monterey Bay Fisheries Trust (60496) is trying to complete its C&P setup. They made a $1 test contribution on May 5 (order 60496-2005051429026924605), which posted the following day, debiting from their payment account. However, the transaction didn't post to Salesforce and they cannot find the deposit into their bank account either. I think there might be a delay before C&P deposits the funds (please confirm), but what about the Salesforce connection? I've verified that Salesforce is connected and I'm the associated admin.

    We just tried and the transaction posted to your SF instance successfully. Moving forward if you see any issues with posting, please let us know.

      Thanks! The transaction that just posted is the order that my client tested last week. (1) How were you able to rerun it in order for it to post and (2) why didn't it work the first time?

        You can post the transaction manually through Connect. Please see: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s..._to_Salesforce

        It looks like when the transaction has processed the connection was not established. However, if you grant us login access to your SF instance, we will review the permissions.

          We previously corresponded in February and at that time enabled the SF connection, so I'm pretty sure it's been active since then. Hence our confusion. Access granted.

          Look forward to hearing from Accounts team regarding bank connection, which was also unanswered in February.

            It was due to the lack of permissions to the connected user. We have assigned the permission set to the user so moving forward the data should post to your instance.
