Error: "Payment Method is required for all Received Opportunities"

Hello,

We have started receiving errors when transactions try to post to our Salesforce Instance. Below is the error:

"Upsert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: FIELD_CUSTOM_VALIDATION_EXCEPTION, Payment Method is required for all Received Opportunities.: []"

Any advice on how to fix/prevent this from happening with future transactions would be appreciated.

We don't have access to your instance and OrgID. However, the above error represents that there is a custom validation rule on Opportunity object which is causing an issue. Please review/deactivate the validation rules and try to post the data.

Does Click & Pledge assign the payment type when creating the opportunity by default? If not is there a way to set that up so it meets our validation rule?

Yes, we do have "C&P Payment Type" in the opportunity. You need to add that from layout > fields.
