  • C&P transactions not landing in correct SF "Primary Campaign Source"

I thought I had successfully updated the Parent Campaign Name under "Salesforce Campaign" in the Payment Settings. However, a test payment and subsequent live donations have continued to land in our old Primary Campaign Source in Salesforce, rather than the new one. What do you advise?

    Good day @[email protected]

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "Salesforce instance" for the login you need?

There have been many orders that have this error (every online gift received thus far in 2020). A recent one is: 21271-2001301213171457549
The campaign online donations should be landing in is called "2020 Gifts under $1,000". Perhaps there is an issue of using the $ and , characters???

By Salesforce instance we mean your Salesforce account - we need to have access so we can login and review your issue. The Salesforce lingo refers to your account as your Salesforce instance.

So please grant us login access and let us know your Salesforce Organization ID so we can login and review the issue.

        Hope that helps.

            Good day!

You do NOT need to send us userid or password. We do NOT need that information.

If you scroll up to the top of this page we have instructions on how to grant login access. If you grant us (Click & Pledge support) then we can login to your account. Once we are done you may simply remove the access.

Please see: (top of this past in light green).

            INFORMATION NEEDED

To help us with upgrading your instance please make sure to:

                Great..

We will review it and let you know.

With as much all changes, it is hard to keep track of it. We suffer from the same challenges as well

                Will keep you posted.

                  Good day @[email protected]

We just reviewed and noticed that the source of the above transaction is from Gravity forms and we don't see any Campaign assigned to it. Since, there is NO Campaign assigned nor any SKU associated with this transaction, based on the C&P Settings >> Opportunity >> Primary Campaign Source >> there should be NO Primary Campaign Source (should be blank) for this transaction BUT we see that the following Campaign as been assigned as Primary Campaign Source: "2020 Gifts under $1,000" it might be due to the Process Builder or flow you have.

However, in order to find out how it gets assigned, we need to repost the above transaction and debug the issue.

Thank you. I was able to fix this with the information you provided. I hadn't checked the "C&P Settings" for "Opportunity" in Salesforce. Once I got there, I was able to direct opportunities to the correct Primary Campaign Source by updating those fields. I just ran a test donation, which seemed to work. Thanks again.
