  • Error connecting 3rd party integration to salesforce due to "missing components"

    Hello,

    We installed C&P in an org this month, they have a force.com domain already, and are ready to connect to Connect. When verifying the user for the salesforce integration in Connect, it says "Sorry but we are unable to establish connection to your Salesforce instance. This may be due to a number of factors such as an out-date installation or missing components. Please grant Click & Pledge support access to your Salesforce account and contact support for review of your instance."

    Clicking read more, like ALL links in the product, goes nowhere useful, just the home support page. Can someone review the setup to see what the error is? If you do any additional installation steps, please do NOT edit layouts or record types. I'd like to know what those extra steps are so I can continue to do installations on my own (I'm a partner/consultant). Thanks!

        Hello- The integration says it's verified and the setting Enable Post to Salesforce = TRUE, and Salesforce C&P Settings also says the account is active, but it is not posting to Salesforce, either automatically or with a click on the transaction. The transactions remain in Connect unposted. What else needs to be done please?

          Hi- just to ping this again on Monday. We still can't post to salesforce, even though your first fix made it so we could verify the connection. Thanks!

                Hi- Is there some kind of delay or user permission? I clicked those Post to SF buttons multiple times over several hours on all the availble transactions, and nothing happened. And some of those transactions were made when the salesforce sync was on and verified yet they all only posted at once when you clicked them, per the timestamps. Thanks

                  Hi- It's posting fine now automatically,BUT it gets to C&P Data and it halts there with this error:

                  No such column 'CnP_PaaS__First_Name__c' on entity 'Contact'. If you are attempting to use a custom field, be sure to append the '__c' after the custom field name. Please reference your WSDL or the describe call for the appropriate names.

                  There is no field with that name at all on Contact, it's not just permissions. Could someone please test this and finalize what is going on with this instance? You still have access

                      It's because your forum doesn't pass links correctly. If you had looked at the C&P Data records all of them have this set of errors and don't process right away. They may process eventually (I assume because of the cleanup batch, or maybe you processed them) but they all start with this error and don't work right away. Two screenshots attached, the record I was linking to above and the one I JUST processed. It came in with this error and didn't process.

                          is due to lack of permission has over the Click & Pledge objects and sf standard objects like Contact, Account and Opportunity.

                          Can you assign proper permission and re-establish the connection please.

                            I already checked that. THe field doesn't even exist on Contact--- I said that several posts and days ago. The integration user has the 2 full access Permission Sets as well and full access to all the related objects.
