It appears on objects with one record type in NPSP i.e. Product, Contact, etc., when installing Click & Pledge, it renames the record type. This can be confusing. Is there any way to change this setting or revert back? I posted this on the NPSP PowerOfUsHub and Amanda Byrne's response was "PaaS does not edit existing records unless you have created a setting to do so. PaaS installs with C&P Online as an added Record Type, but it should not be modifying existing record types. If you feel that PaaS overwrote an existing record type and renamed it "C&P Online" in your Salesforce instance, please grant access and provide the Object and Record Type that you believe were renamed."
Our Org Id is 00Df2000001JHTz
And I granted 1-week access.
Two of the objects are Contact and Product (renamed to Service).
At this point, I do not want to change anything. I just want to understand why it renamed out of the box NPSP objects when I did not authorize it.
Thanks,
Rubin
