    Hi,

A donor reached out to us with this message: When I make donations, for my own records I like to print out the email receipt I immediately receive, even though eventually a separate receipt comes by mail. But in recent months the gray text in these emails has been so faint that I can barely read it. (And the issue is not that a printer ink cartridge needs replacing. The Subject line text prints clearly in solid black.) I’m hoping someday you’ll change the text in these emails from gray to black.
This is the order number that the donor is referring to for the receipt: 36448-1911082238081381615

I thought the email receipt template that we had set up to use does not have any gray text. On the autoresponder log, it shows this is the template is being used:
https://urm.my.salesforce.com/a1B1K00000DYLkr Can you please look into this and let me know why it would be showing up as gray?

Also, just curious, if the donor already marked 'email opt out', they would still be receiving the autoresponder, correct?

    Thanks

    Good day @mjokiman

Would you please ask that donor to take a screenshot of that receipt and point us which gray text they are referring to? I reviewed both of the receipts i.e. Connect as well as the Autoresponder and don't see any gray text in the receipts.

PS: regarding the 'email opt-out', yes, they will receive the Autoresponder. However, in the case of templates, those templates in Connect and Autoresponders are editable so that you can edit it accordingly.

        Hi,
I've attached screenshot of the receipt that's printing in gray text. I can see on the screen how it looks gray instead of the typical black color. The template shows black, not sure how the email comes off with the gray color? Thanks

As stated above the receipt templates in Connect and in C&P Designer are completely editable and you have full control over to change colors and fonts. However, we just reviewed your template in Salesforce and noticed that it is not black but it looks gray.
