  • Custom questions not mapping to Salesforce

    Hello,

    We have several custom questions with custom mapping set up in our C&P Settings in Salesforce. These are set up using the Custom Question Map Field Settings. However, these fields are not mapping to Salesforce when donations are made. Looking at the settings and having reviewed instructions in a forum article, I can't determine where the error is. Per the forum, "If you expect a specific answer/s, enter the value in Answer. If you expect multiple specific answers, you will need to create multiple mapping rules. If you would like the Patron's answer, regardless of what it is, to populate the field, leave this blank." We would like the Patron's answer, regardless of what it is, to populate the Salesforce fields, and thus have left them blank in the C&P custom mapping settings.

    The fields in question on our C&P form include:
    Is this donation in honor of someone? (Honoree Name)
    Whom should we notify? (Notification recipient)
    Notification recipient contact information
    Notification message

    Please advise. I have granted Salesforce access. Thanks!

        Can you clarify what order number you are referring to? We just started using Click & Pledge last month, so this is still new to us. Thanks.

          Order number will generate when the transaction processed. You will find the order number in the receipt as well as in your Connect portal.

            I'm not sure what transaction you are referring to. Are you talking about an example of one of the donations in which the information did not map from the custom fields into Salesforce? If so--there were several of these. Do I just provide the one of the order numbers, or do you need to see more than one? Thank you.
