Please assign the following permission set to that respective user: "PS-CnP-PaaS-ONLY-TemporaryContact" and it works.
Regarding the upgrade, only Events need to be upgraded. However, we have upgraded them with the latest one.

It works now, thank you! On a separate, but similar note, another client is receiving errors from Salesforce when they process temporary contacts. Their org id is 00D1I000000n7LD and I will grant login access. Do they need to upgrade their C&P as well?

I have granted login access to Click and Pledge support for the duration of one week.
If you login as Katherine Sundt, you will not be able to process any temporary contacts (you can successfully click the "Process" button and not receive an error message, but processing actually never completes and the contact does not fall off the temporary contact list).

Process Temporary Contacts
Hi there,
I have a client who does not seem able to "Process" Temporary Contacts in Salesforce. She is able to click the "Process" button and C&P seems like it is creating new record(s), but apparently the contact does not fall off the Temporary Contacts list. she was not originally listed as a User in C&P so I added her as an active user with sys admin privileges (and used the same email address that she uses to login to Salesforce), but she is still not seeing any change. Is there a setting that I am missing?
