  • C&P Not Posting to Salesforce - creates contact but not opportunity

    Hello, We've noticed that since about 2/25 that we have about 100 C&P transactions that have not created opportunities in Salesforce. I've checked in with NIM and they thought that maybe there was a recent C&P update that we missed. This seems to affect only the PaaS side and not event management. I've given C&P log in access to our SF instance is 00DF00000006xCG. There is some urgency around this as we need to close out February and need those opportunities created in Salesforce. Please let me know if you need anything else.

      Good day @CRobi24

      We reviewed the above order numbers and found that the issue is related to the NPSP NOT C&P. If you navigate to the C&P Transaction page or C&P Data of the above order numbers, you will see the error:

      npsp.TDTM_Opportunity

      OpportunityTrigger_TDTM: execution of AfterUpdate

      While creating the opportunity the above trigger from NPSP causing an issue and ending up with NO opportunity for the transaction. You will need to contact NPSP support and find out the cause of the issue.

        Chris,

        I'm going to get in touch with Michelle so I can learn more about what she discovered that led to your comment in Live Support about an email text trying to write to an Id field.

        In the meantime, while reviewing your Custom Mapping Settings, I discovered this rule (I consolidated the screen for digestability, but it's towards the bottom):

        You'll notice the rule highlighted in blue updates the Campaign Id information; however, does not reflect the Id in parentheses like Account does (highlighted in orange).
        I suspect someone typed in the text and saved the rule before the lookup could add the appropriate Id.

        I don't think it is relevant to the errors you are getting, at least not the one I'm currently evaluating, but I suggest you correct it to avoid potential issues.

          I have communicated with Michelle, and she has indicated that Now IT Matters was able to discover the issue and correct it last night, so we consider the problem resolved.

          I have asked her for a date range and a list of Order Numbers to repost to correct issues on your existing data.

            Hey Amanda, thank you for the update. I researched that rule that you highlighted in blue. It looks like we don't even need that one anymore. I ran a report of any transactions that use a sku close that and we don't have any, so I don't think it's necessary.

            I spoke Michelle and she said they've found the issue and resolved it last night. I re-posted a an error-ed transaction and it went through! yay!
