  • Virtual Terminal - Existing Patron lookup

    We have a user that would like to be able to use the Virtual Terminal to process a payment to a Contact already entered into Salesforce. We would like to use the the Existing Patron feature (screenshot below) to find this contact. As a System Administrator, I am able to do this. But as a user, they are not able. Are there some specific fields that the profile needs read access to?

    It seems to be lack of permission on contact object for that respective profile. Would you please share the profile name of the users who don't see the contact lookup so that we can review it?

      Surely. The Profile is called Development. I've granted a week login access.

          Sorry I was out of the office. Do you need specific access form the user who doesn't see the Existing Patron lookup? That user doesn't have the ability to grant login access. Only our system administrators can do that, and they can use the Existing Patron lookup.

            Would you please create a user for us and assign the respective profile so that we can login and review the issue?

            Please create a user and set the email to: General.Mailbox@ClickandPledge.biz

              I've created a user named Consultant Test. The email for that user is General.Mailbox@ClickandPledge.biz. Let me know if you can test.

                It looks like you have changed the email address of the existing User which results, it prompts us with the security question while changing the password:

                        Thanks, we are able to login now. Please also grant us access with System Administrator user so that we can make the changes if needed and review the user with limited permissions.

                            We reviewed and found that the User with the profile name "Development" doesn't have access to any of the C&P tabs. Please confirm that the user having the issue with the Existing Patron lookup in C&P Virtual Terminal having the same profile assigned? Also, please share the username who is having the issue.

                              Can you tell me which tabs they need access to? I will go into the Development profile and give them access.

                              The user having the issue is LaRonda Scott. She has the Development profile.
