When a transaction is processed, a new contact and account are being created. My understanding is that if the email address already exists in Salesforce, then that is the contact that receives the transaction. What are the other triggers for a new contact being created? The other problem is that when the account gets created, it is an organization account and not a household account. The default for Salesforce is that any contact with a first and last name will be created in a household account.
