    Hi Amanda,

the 2 examples I gave you above were specific donations that you can look up. I am not able to download nor view the attachment/.jpg that you mentioned above.

It's a report in your Connect Account.

I need to find the pattern that is causing some of the donations not to be assigned Campaigns.

Hi Amanda, This recurring donation https://na35.salesforce.com/0064100000ZMx8l does not have a campaign (I just manually entered it). However, in Connect, it does have the Salesforce campaign Name and Campaign ID.

Hi, I'm still having to manually enter the campaigns for a few recurring donations. The same ones that i fixed previously where i entered the salesforce campaign name and ID in Connect.

Monica - Are you having to fix payments for the same recurring donations each month or is it just the ones that have yet to be fixed?

              Hi Amanda,
              . Here's
I started keeping track in October so these ones are the same ones that I had previously fixed and now coming up blank again in November. Here's an example: 36448-181003094011993 you can see that in Connect the campaign ID and campaign name are filled in but in November, in Salesforce the campaign is blank.

OK - so I checked the report I made for you a while back: https://na35.salesforce.com/00O41000008dpcG.

If you click on "C&P Recurring ID: Campaign", the list will be sorted so that the Recurrings that do not have Campaigns assigned are at the top.

                And here is a screenshot:

You'll see your example is first on the list. I've cropped a bunch out of the screenshot to size it down, but still illustrate the point.

Good news is that there's only 40 active recurring donations that might need to be 'fixed', and you may have resolved some already. The orange block is the Campaign that is on the Opportunity record, and the Blue Block is the Campaign that was originally assigned for the transaction. I suspect if you're 'having to fix multiple times' is due to the fact that you fixed it in Salesforce, but the new payments are only going to follow the settings of the last payment in Connect.

SO - if you copy the order number from the report (it's the next column over, just cropped out of the screenshot), and go into Connect > Transactions & Reports, click the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner (to search) and paste the order number,

You'll then see that transaction's Detail. You just need to change the Connect Campaign here, and future payments will use the Salesforce Campaign that's assigned to THAT campaign when the payments arrive in Salesforce.

This changes it at the root of the chain, so you won't have to do it again next month..

Now- there are 16 recurring donations in the report whose opportunities don't have a Campaign either - if you go through the same steps with those, you will not experience issues going forward, but I have no way of knowing what Campaigns those recurrings are supposed to be getting.

                Hope that helps. ~ Amanda

Hi Amanda, I was told before that i needed to enter the salesforce campaign and campaign ID in Connect by going to Manage Recurring (From your screenshot above), and from there click Edit/Update, then it has a section for "Salesforce Campaign" with 2 fields: Campaign Name and Campaign ID. That's where I have been going in to fix the issue by following this instruction that was given before.

Can you please confirm as to which field/s needs to be filled in order for this issue to be absolutely fixed? Because the one you showed above is clearly a different section than what I have been doing. Thank you.

Monica, what you are doing is correct. You will need to update that information in Connect by going to Manage Recurring and click Edit/Update then enter the Campaign Name and Campaign ID.

Strange! are you updating that information into the last recurring installment? Please note that the information needs to be updated by going into the last recurring installment order number so that it will apply for all future recurring installments.

click on the most recent recurring installment order number of that respective recurring chain >> click on Manage Recurring >> click on Update/Edit and update the campaign.

If you share the recurring and campaign information with us, we will update it for you so that you can check when the next installment arrives.

Me and my client LEBF have been caught in this recurring donation campaign nightmare as well! (They're using FAAS Forms - though most of these are SF VT, they just used the Salesforce Campaign in the VT and didn't do a transaction campaign in the VT when they set these up).

I have manually fixed about 50-60 or so transactions over the last month. (Thankfully they're a relatively newcomer to click and pledge and I'm not dealing with 100s). However this month they're all coming back as well. Can you please take a look for me as to why?

Your Salesforce C&P Settings> Opportunity > Primary Campaign to use the Transaction Campaign are fine.

To fix your existing Recurrings, please follow the steps in the video
