  • Contacts that exist in salesforce are going into Temporary contacts giving online

    When someone gives online, and they already exist as a contact in Salesforce, it is always placing that contact in the temporary contacts area in Click and Pledge, meaning we are having to manually add everyone who gives. This is very time consuming. We currently have the setting at semi-automatic. If we turn on the fully automatic, it will always create a duplicate contact, which is equally frustrating. Would it be possible for you to look into our Salesforce instance and see why it may be doing this? I tried giving today and it put me in temporary contacts, so you can see that as a reference. i used the exact information that was already in the system, so it should have known that it was me. The Salesforce ID is 00D0a000002UHIJ and you have been given support permissions. Thanks for your help.

    I see there is a number of temp contacts, would you please share the order number as well as the existing ContactID which you are referring to so that we can review whats going on?

        We reviewed and found that the issue is with the C&P Settings weren't updated. We simply updated the settings and re-posted the data and worked fine. Moving forward there should not be any issues.
