  • Pre-authorized recurring payment not posting to Salesforce

    Hello,

I am creating new recurring payments via the virtual terminal, and I would like to see an opportunity created in SF to show that the cc has been pre-authorized. This should show as a $0 donation, correct? I changed the C&P setting to post $0 opportunities to Salesforce, but it is still not posting the data. How can I make this work?

I have already granted access to my account. A related order number is 34318-180619150847751

You can see my previous support exchange with Amanda on the HUB here: https://powerofus.force.com/_ui/core...mail=1&s1ext=0

    Thanks!
    Lindsay

    Good day @[email protected]

I see that Amanda has been responded to you in HUB. However, we reviewed and noticed that you are at the outdated version of our apps for which support has been ended on October 26, 2017. If you allow us we will upgrade you instance with latest versions and review the above order number.

Yes, please upgrade my app. Amanda did review the issue, but was unable to solve it. Please take a look as soon as my app upgraded. Thank you!

        Good day @[email protected]

We have upgraded your instance with latest versions of our apps and reposted the data for above order number from Connect and it created the opportunity now.

It is always best practice to re-establish the connection after each upgrade to simply refreshing the OAuth token because Salesforce may have expired the token after an upgrade.

To establish connection please see the following KB article: https://support.clickandpledge.com/s...ion#Salesforce

Please check and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Thank you! But I still have one issue. Why is it posting to Salesforce as "Withdrawn?" Per my C&P setting, I would expect a preauthorized transaction to show up as "Pledged"

          Thanks for your help!

            Good day @[email protected]

Because since you have used Card on File, we simply charge the card with a dollar to verify it is still a valid card. Once it verified/authorized the card successfully, we credited back the amount to the card.
