  • Virtual Terminal Transactions Creating New Salesforce Campaigns

    When processing a transaction in the Virtual Terminal for this campaign: https://madd.my.salesforce.com/7010G000000zlJG
    for a Reschedule Fee Item, the resulting Opportunity does not get connected to the original campaign, even though it is specified both as the item campaign and the transaction campaign.

    Instead, a new campaign with the same name is created: https://madd.my.salesforce.com/7010G000000zwcH and the Opportunity is connected to that campaign. The C&P Transaction is connected to the correct campaign (https://madd.my.salesforce.com/7010G000000zlJG)

    Here is an example of an Opportunity that was created from the Virtual Terminal: https://madd.my.salesforce.com/0060G00000uqpJt

    You can see that the Opportunity is connected to a different Campaign that was created with the same name, and the related C&P Transaction is connected to the correct campaign. Both the Item Campaign and the Transaction Campaign are the same campaign in the Virtual Terminal, so why are they being linked to different campaigns?

      As you can see above, there are TWO Campaigns with the same name but having double space in the other one which is the reason it is created the new one instead of attaching to the existing one.

      Please remove extra space from the Campaign name so moving forward it will assign to the correct campaign.
