  • Donations not creating oppportunities

    Hello - one of my clients, SF#00D36000001FjJz / C&P #36975 is experiencing an intermittent issue with transactions not creating opportunities. I've looked at the C&P transactions and I'm not seeing what the issue is. Could you check and see what you can see? Here's the details and I have granted access to SF for 1 week.

    The two that you can look at are Gary Ogden and Ted Ledford. You can see the C&P Transactions when you look at their contact files, but there are no associated opportunties. Both were put in through Virtual Terminal. Can you help me figure out what is going on with these?

    We reviewed and noticed that you have the below settings for Opportunity creation for custom payment type:

    Gary Ogden Contact has 2 transactions, each one was done from custom payment type "Check". But in above settings, you are set to create the opportunity for custom payment type names as well as * which is the reason you see intermittent opportunity creation. Either you may specify the names of custom payment type OR use * for all custom payment types as mention in the above image.
