    The matching info is not transferring over to Salesforce as seen in this account: (Matching gift Percent, Matching Gift Admin Name... etc )

    The pledge opportunity creation is working fine as seen by this:

    but the original gift is also getting switched with the "Matching Donation" Record Type

    You were right that the instructions set both the Donor's Opportunity and the Matching Organization's Opportunity to have a Matching Gift Record Type. This is not necessary for NPSP's purposes in recording the matching gift; however, NPSP's process for recording the gift is entirely manual.

    Here is the screen shot from the slide that shows the configuration that makes this happen:

    The Matching Gift - Contact condition is the one that sets the Record Type on the Donor's Opportunity. I will need to see if this is important to the automation that C&P does to update the Organization's Opportunity.

    Regardless, this should not have stopped the NPSP Matching Gift fields from populating on the Organization Account. I will need to log into your instance to see what has happened in your case, please give me some time today to take a look, and I will try to update you by the end of the day.

      I reviewed your case.

      The information that comes from Double the Donation automatically becomes available on the C&P Matching Gift VF page, which can be added to the Organzation Page Layout. I have added it to yours directly under the NPSP Matching Gift fields. There is also a button in this VF page to push the information to the Organization Account NPSP Matching Fields- I did this for the example you gave.
      The fields may have been automatically updated in the original release, and the button to do so added later- I will look into whether this is the case. As a practice, we do get nervous writing over existing data - this introduces liability.

      I would suggest that you review your Organization Layout, and add the C&P Matching Gift VF page to the layout, so the button will be available to update the NPSP fields.

      I'm still looking into the Record Type situation- but it's going to require some testing.
