  • Free event tickets' stage is "pledged" instead of "received"

    Hey there,

    I am using the C&P event management page inside of Salesforce to sell free tickets/RSVPs to an event. I cloned the event, so the config should be good, but I noticed all the customers who don't make an additional donation (i.e. don't input any payment info and have a balance of $0) are showing up in Salesforce as opportunities where the stage reads "pledged" instead of "received".

    - The same thing occurs if I run a free transaction through a different event, AND if I run a free transaction via the standard general C&P terminal (i.e. not an event)
    - BUT it does NOT happen if I 'discount' a transaction that initially was not free - that rolls up correctly as "received".
    - I duplicated the event from an older event so the config should be fine.
    - I checked in C&P settings/opportunity, and “free” transactions are set to populate as “received”.
    - I can’t find any SKU mapping or workflow rules that indicate $0 transactions should be marked ‘pledged’ instead of ‘received’.

    Has there been an update that effected this field? Am I missing some config somewhere?

    Good day @jackdunn

    Please note that as of now in case of $0 transaction, it will apply the stage of "Pre-Authorized Transaction" NOT FREE Payment Transactions. You will need to change the stage to "Received" for Pre-Authorized Transaction. Free Payment Transactions stage applies only for 100% discount coupon code.

      Hi CnP.Support.AM thanks for getting back to me. I understand - how does that work for actual pre-auth transactions (I'm thinking specifically of Give Out Day, here, where folks pledge ahead of time to donate on the one specific day when it counts). WIll that not mess those up, if they're run as "received" instead?
