Virtual Terminal String Append no longer working in partner community

In our Partner community, we have a link to the Virtual Terminal https://portal.basisschools.org/apex...1r360000005qNf. Prior to this last update, all the fields in the Virtual terminal worked correctly. Now the "Existing Patron" field will not search. Any help is appreciated.
