After speaking with Amanda on the 9/13/2017 C&P Support Hours, Amanda said she thought the change was made so that Connect and Event Refunds go to the same SF Campaign as the original transaction. If so, is this included in the upcoming 9/25 C&P Release?

Hi Chris,
We did check on this and the fix is scheduled for the next release, currently scheduled for Sept 20th. It's not so much a matter of the 'same' campaign, the refund changes the Stage on the existing Opportunity, and removed the Opportunity from the Campaign. In the next release, the Campaign value will not be removed from the Opportunity. You may want to review your C&P Settings > Opportunity to make sure your refunds are set to receive the correct stage (a Closed/Lost stage)
