  • Can't find where to set contact record type

    I am working in OID 00DA0000000HNy0. Under C&P Settings -> Contacts & Accounts, I don't see anywhere to set the contact record type. This is odd, because in another Salesforce instance that has C&P installed, I see the section to do that. I had just requested that this org be upgraded to the latest version as well.

    Any idea why this is so?

    That is an expected behaviour. We found that above instance having Person Account enabled and the following features we don’t support in PersonAccount instance: Contact and Account mapping which includes the Contact Record Types, Custom Question mapping and eVT.

    Please note that Click & Pledge does NOT support person accounts and a lot of our features are not compatible with this type of instance.

      Yikes, I thought that was the case. Are you able to give any advice on how to properly set the record type in this case? Person accounts are turned on, but don't look actively used. Right now, it looks like someone had set up the custom mapping to try to change the contact record type.

      If you're unable to help, I understand. I can try to think of a workaround. Thank you!
