We're working on a silent auction event, where we'd like to pre-swipe participants' cards on their way in so they can be charged very quickly (through the Virtual Terminal) as they purchase silent auction items or offer donations. Is this a workflow that is possible with Click & Pledge? We don't want to charge the users at the time of collecting their payment information.

You may accomplish the above by processing the transaction with $0 and may charge the card by using reference transaction by loading the existing contact in Virtual Terminal.

Excellent. Thank you very much for the pointer. We tried to charge $0 using a standard donation form and received error messages. Do you recommend using the virtual terminal to make the $0 charge or another workflow?Comment

Yes, you need to do it from VT as standard donation forms doesn't allow $0 transactions.Regards,
