    I want to map this Question to a field in Salesforce. I have it defined like as in this screenshot. I assume that the fields "Answer*" and "then Replace text with**" should be left empty and the field in Salesforce will be filled with the data from the form. If that's not the case what should I be doing? I have another one just like this.

    Thanks... Bob

    Good day @msgBldr

    That is correct but please note that in Salesforce the question has to map exactly. The best way to check this is to review the C&P Data and see what question is being posted. If the question you have in the mapping does not match what is in the C&P Data, the mapping will not happen.

    Please grant us access and share the order number we will review it.

    Looking forward to hearing back from you.

      OK, that helps. Here are the two fields as I was trying before:
      <Parameter>
      <Field>SocialComment</Field>
      <Value>data Your public posted comment :</Value>
      </Parameter>

      <Parameter>
      <Field>DisplayName</Field>
      <Value>data Display my Name as:</Value>
      </Parameter>

      I guess that the <Field>name... is what I should be using. So, I changed it in C&P Settings and here's what I have now from the C&P Data. The Value is just test data:
      <Field>SocialComment</Field>
      <Value>data Comment</Value>
      </Parameter>

      <Parameter>
      <Field>DisplayName</Field>
      <Value>data Name</Value>
      </Parameter>
      A link to the C&P Data with this data:

      The data is still not being mapped and copied to Salesforce. A link to the Donation:

      The org ID is 00DA0000000Yx1t and I have given you access.

      THANKS... Bob

        Good day @msgBldr

        It seems that you are trying to map the below highlighted fields in Salesforce:

        Click image for larger version

Name:	Form fields.jpg
Views:	170
Size:	42.2 KB
ID:	33977

        Please note that the above fields are NOT the custom questions but it is a part of form fields.

        You need to add the Custom Questions to the form which may map in the Salesforce.

        Hope that helps. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

          So where do I map them? I'm only working on the Salesforce side of things. The Web developer has created the form and these fields are on the form; he tells me they are part of the standard form that he is using.

          If I look at the C&P Settings in Salesforce I do not see these fields anywhere or a way to get them into Salesforce.. Can you tell me how/where to do this?

          Thanks... Bob

            Good day @msgBldr

            The form in the question is Connect form. You need to add the Custom Questions to the Form which you would like to map in Salesforce.

            Here are the steps which will walk you through the process:

            Login to Connect
            • Click on Campaigns
            • Select the respective Campaign
            • Click on the Campaign Details
            • Navigate to the Custom Questions section
            Click image for larger version

Name:	Custom Questions.jpg
Views:	132
Size:	172.6 KB
ID:	33997

            As you can see the couple of questions has been already added by maybe your web developers. You simply create the section and add the Question to the section.

            Hope that helps. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

              Thanks for the response. Please keep in mind:
              > I thought these were custom questions, I did not build the form.
              > I don't really need or want to have them as custom questions.
              > I assume that if it's on the form it can be processed into Salesforce.

              All I really want to know is how to process the fields on the form into Salesforce. I am not a C&P expert nor a top-notch web developer. I'm not finding this easy or simple.

              Please get back to me as soon as you can, The first post on this was nearly a week ago.

              Thanks... Bob

                At least one of them seems to be a custom question. At least it is shown as a related item on the transaction detail:

                  Good day @msgBldr

                  Yes, you may map the Public Comment but NOT the Display name.

                  You may map it question as: Public comment

                      Good day @msgBldr

                      Sorry but that field cannot be mapped because we are not passing Display Name as a custom question into Salesforce. You need to add a question in "Connect Campaign" in order to map in Salesforce custom mapping.

                        Thanks. I understand that "Display Name" cannot be mapped as a custom question because that is not what it is.
                        I'm trying to understand what can be done with it since it is a field on the form. Is it simply a field on the form that goes nowhere? Doesn't make sense to me but...
                        How can we take the field off the form and replace it with a custom question? (I'm told that it is a part of the form and cannot be changed.)
                        Thanks... Bob

                          Good day @msgBldr

                          My apologize that I didn't mention about that field in my previous replies. Display Name is the Connect form field which use to display name of the donors in Connect Campaign page under recent activities.

                          You may hide that field and add it as custom question by following the steps listed in above attached image so that you may map in Salesforce custom mapping.

                          You may hide that field under Streamer of the respective campaign:

                            Yes, you may map the Public Comment but NOT the Display name.

                            You may map it question as: Public comment
                            I came with the exact same question as Bob, and I understand these fields appear to be dedicated to the Live Stream feature. I have three questions:
                            1) Is the Live Stream feature something that only appears on your C&P public page, or is it something we can feed on our WordPress site or Facebook page?
                            2) Can I map "Your public posted comment :" to the Opportunity Description field? (see attached)
                            3) Can the Live Stream setting for "Allow Anonymous Option" also translate to the Anonymous checkbox on my Opportunity? (see attached)

                              Good day @Susanna

                              1) Yes, it only appears on C&P public page.

                              2) Yes, you may map the Public Comment.

                              3) Yes, you may also map the Anonymous in any of the 3 objects Account, Contacts and Opportunity.

                              Please note that the question to map for public comment is "Public Comment" NOT "your public posted comment" and for the Anonymous the question should be "Anonymous Donation" NOT "make this donation anonymously".

                              Hope that answers your questions. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
