  • How to assign Recurring Transaction to a different contact/account

    Hi,

    I had accidentally chose the wrong contact while going through the Temporary Contact list. I was able to move the transaction to the correct contact. However, the donor had set up a recurring transaction, and currently this recurring is still attached to the wrong contact. Recurring ID: 270322. This is the wrong contact https://na35.salesforce.com/0034100000XQuzd. This is the correct one: https://na35.salesforce.com/0034100000XPARN that the recurring needs to be associated with. I clicked on the "Edit contact info" on the recurring, but there's no option for me to change the contact. Please help.

        We don't have an option to change the Contact for recurring and we request you to please not to make such mistake because it is having cascading effect for entire recurring chain. However, one of our developers reviewed your instance and replaced the Contact with correct one in the backend.

            Hi, I just realized that the contact was created, but not the household, thus, the recurring is tied to the correct contact but not household account. This is the correct account: https://na35.salesforce.com/0014100000PKJioAAH that the recurring needs to be connected with 270322.
