    Currently, while in Temp Contacts, if you look up a contact to associate the donation with, and click enter button: If there is only one contact that matches the search, they will automatically be assigned the donation. but it is possible that the only contact could still be the wrong contact. I realize that it is best practice to use the magnifying glass to qualify the correct contact. But users are used to using the enter button. I wanted to suggest considering having the enter button be essentially the same thing as clicking the magnifying glass. So that the user is forced to confirm the selection, vs. automatically assigning the donation to a potentially wrong user.

    I see what you are referring to and have forwarded this to our developers to see if they maybe consider it in future releases.

    However, the default selection of a contact which you are referring to is in case of recurring transaction ONLY and in other cases it is default to New Contact. It is always best practice to review it before hitting enter button.
