C&P Transactions not posting to Salesforce

  • C&P Transactions not posting to Salesforce

    I've just run two checks through the virtual terminal in Salesforce, and while they appear as transactions in Connect, they are not posting to Salesforce. I tried to post them to Salesforce from Connect and the following message appears in Connect after I've done so, but they still do not show as posted in Salesforce and the status in Connect remains "Not Posted" :

    "The transaction has been posted to Salesforce. Please allow 30 seconds for the post to appear in Salesforce. In case of error an email will be sent to the notification list."

    Prior to entering the checks, I ran a credit card through the virtual terminal in Salesforce without any problems. The order numbers for the two transactions that will not post are 33537-170426152442976 and 33537-170426155242788. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

    4/27/17: I've noticed this morning that the transactions for monthly recurring gifts set to run today are appearing in Connect but are also not posting to Salesforce and are showing as out of sync. I have granted one week access. Salesforce ID 00Do0000000e6Y2.

    4/27/17 9:23am: The recurring gifts for today have posted in Salesforce, but as mlregal notes below, I am still unable to manually post via Connect the gifts for the two order numbers I mentioned above. There is no error message or email that I can find.

    This is happening to me as well. Same exact thing. The order number for me are 34046-170426170056764 and 34046-170426171128807. I have granted C&P a week access to our account 00D61000000JSwL

      This is also happening with our account. we've had many transactions that have not posted to Salesforce since 3:14 pm CDT this afternoon. I have checked and our connection is verified and none of the transactions are coming through with errors.

      Org ID is 00DF00000006xCG
      I have granted login access

      4/27/17 UPDATE: It looks like transactions started posting again at 8:22 am CDT this morning. However, I am still not able to manually post the older transactions to Salesforce. There's no error message or email, they just never show up in Salesforce.

        Good Morning C&P, Just wanted to give you an update on this issue. I'm getting email receipts for transactions, but nothing into SF. No temp contacts, no gifts, nothing. I have a lot of events and these people are showing up in C&P Events, but when I click on "click temp contact" this is what I'm getting.

        Sorry but the Temporary Contact is missing. The following are possible reasons for this absence:
        The Temporary Contact has been deleted.
        The transaction has not posted back to Salesforce.
        The C&P Data has posted but has been deleted
        Transaction Information
        Registrant Name: Jeanine D'Armiento
        Order Number: 34046-170426161246069
        To fix this issue please login to Connect(https://Login.Connect.ClickandPledge.com)and push the transaction back to Salesforce.You may want to reference this article on how to post the data back to Salesforce:Re-Post Transaction to Salesforce

          Our C&P transactions are also not posting in Salesforce.

          I have granted C&P access to our Salesforce. Our SF ID is : 00D400000008z0I. Transactions from March and April have not posted in SF. Once this is updated, please fix this so our March & April donations that had errors are posted.

                Do you have any idea when they will be re-posted to salesforce?Transactions are still stuck in Connect and when it doesn't work when I try to manually re-post them. Is there a timeline for when this will be complete?

                        This has been established, but since 6/26, everything is sitting in Temporary Contacts.

                          That is related to the settings you have set for Contact creation under C&P Settings >> Contacts & Accounts:

                          Semi-Automatic means if NO match is found then go to Temp. That is to avoid duplicates. You have set to match the street, city, state, postal code, and country. Semi-Automatic puts a contact in Temp if NO exact match is found. It has no way of knowing if any of the spelling changes in all of those selected fields.

                          Matching a Temp is much easier than cleaning up a lot of duplicates. Most of the organizations set to Semi-automatic and First & Last Name and Email including Alias First & Last Name and Email as matching fields.

                          I hope you see the point and why those are in temp contacts.

                            Thanks for the details. However, when I try to clear the Temporary Contacts by going to attach to current contact, I get the following error:
                            Errors

                            • Required fields are missing: [Case Name]
                            • Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: REQUIRED_FIELD_MISSING, Required fields are missing: [Case Name]: [Case Name]
