    Hello - could you please check on something on one of my clients - #34781. They have some issues with data and I've been trying to track them down. Basically, they contacted me because their monthly recurring gifts seemed to be going down over the course of a few months. I I started looking at their data since their last fundraiser and here's are some things that I've found and I'm trying to figure what's going on. Can you help me?

    - One of the things that I noticed is that since 1/2/17, a whole lot of contacts have been changed from record type "Individual" to *C&P Online". You can see this on this List View:
    https://na48.salesforce.com/003?fcf=...ndex=-1&page=1 All of the contacts have modified date > 1/2/17. I've spot checked quite a few of them and it looks like they all have recurring gifts through Click & Pledge. I did find the place in C&P Settings where the record type for the contact is set up and it was set up with "WID is [blank] C&P Online. Everyone there says they have not changed this. So, my question - is there anything that changed in the program or any other way this could have been changed?

    - I also found that between 10/18/16 and 1/25/17, the declined credit cards have a Stage of "Propspecting". Prior to 10/18/16 they have a stage of "Closed Lost" and after 1/25/17, the stage is "Declined". Again, everyone is saying that nothing was changed. Is there any program update or other process that could have changed this setting?

            We reviewed and all seems to be working as expected. We reviewed some of the contacts and the order numbers associated with it and found that based the condition satisfy the record type has been assigned.

            Please note that we never change the settings nor our updates change any of the settings. That must have been changed by someone in your organization.

            However, we have upgraded your instance as requested.

            It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.

              My organization is having the same issue. As the latest round of monthly donations are being processed, the Contact Record Type is being changed to C&P Online.

                I've just tracked down a connection to one of these issues and I'm not sure where to look to determine what is going on. This is in reference to the Contacts being changed to Record Type "C&P Online". What I'm seeing is that when a donation comes through Click & Pledge, it is changing the record type of the associated contact to C&P Contact. You can see that on my record "Beverly J Hacker". I ran two test transactions through the website yesterday and it changed my contact record type to "C&P Online". Can you please point me to where that is being triggered? Note that I changed the C&P Setting for Contact Record type to "Individual" before running these donations.

                  I just checked some other organizations and I see that it is happening there as well. Please look at company #00D15000000Eh2p / Acct 34062. You can see the contacts on this Listview: https://nfcb.my.salesforce.com/003?f...ndex=-1&page=1

                  On this client - it is everyone that gave on Give Big and everyone that has paid for registration for our event since that time.

                  And, on this client - #00D1a000000YFdW / Acct #33238 The same thing is happening.

                  On both of these clients, the Last modified date is today, but on the original client #34781, the last modified dates are all since 1/2/17


                  I checked on one other client and it is happening there as well. Can you please review this issue and get back to me as soon as possible to determine what is going on?

                      Sorry for the delay in reply. We reviewed your instance OrgID: 00DU0000000XpxX and unable to replicate the issue you are referring to.

                      We have processed two test transactions in your instance with the name "Account Verification" <https://na48.salesforce.com/0030B000020Xqd0> and all seems to be working as expected. The record type "Individual" has been assigned as expected for even TWO times.

                      Would you please test it again with the current settings and let us know if you are able to replicate the issue and the exact steps you have taken?

                          We reviewed the Contact record which we have created "Account Verification" <https://na48.salesforce.com/0030B000020Xqd0> and didn't find any change even after 48 hours:

                          We are not aware of any batch process which change the contact record type. If you notice any change after certain time period, please let us know so that we can review.

                            Once again - here is a report of all of the contacts that have been changed. The commonality is that these are all contacts that have C&P transactions since we did GiveBig in December.

                            Here is a new transaction that just came through C&P events this morning. I just processed his registration and it changed his contact record type from Individual to C&P Online.

                            That is the case on all of the examples that I previously sent you. This is not happening when a new contact is set up, it is happening when a C&P transaction hits. My clients are reporting that it is happening as each new recurring gift is processed. In the case of the NFCB stuff, it looks like it is being updated daily as you can see from this listing. Note that Mike Savage is the one that I just processed. You can see that his record was updated at 7:34 am today, when I processed the temp contact on the registration, while all the others were processed at 2:05 am this morning.

                            Could you please look more closely at this. I first reported this on March 26 and my clients are getting pretty upset by it.

                              Here's another one that got changed this morning with the registration on C&P Events. Note the time on the Created Date on the event registration and the time on the change on the contact:
