  • Disappearing Payment Methods

We have been intending on really making the most of the CnP platform, but at least 4 times now our custom Payment Methods have been reset/disappeared/erased. That can't happen. This is what it should look like:

Name:	other2.JPG
Views:	4
Size:	21.4 KB
ID:	31447
but every few weeks it drops that and goes back to

Name:	other.JPG
Views:	4
Size:	16.0 KB
ID:	31448

I've looked through the Portal and Connect for any kind of setting that would sync and override it, and I see nothing. Please let me know how we can sure our custom payments stay.

    Thanks,
    Danny

        Good day @support@jstart.org

We reviewed your instance and the settings you are referring to, we don't see any issue as you are reporting. Please see if someone in your organization has been changing those settings?

However, we noticed that you are version behind, if you allow us we will upgrade your instance with latest versions of C&P.

Well you can't see the issue until the items just go away. But as best I can tell, no, no one has been changing that, only myself and one other person even has permission to and I have already asked him if he made the changes.

Please feel free to upgrade to the latest version for us, thanks.

            Good day @support@jstart.org

We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the connect & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.

To establish connection please see the following KB article: http://cnp.mn/2dzgsms

Cool, thanks, and reconnected. We'll keep an eye on those payment types.

It happened again. All the custom types disappeared. This is a real problem, how do we track this?

                  Good day @support@jstart.org

Strange! We have tested it but unable to replicate the issue nor it has been reported by any of our clients.

However, I have asked our testing team to setup couple of test instances and monitor it at least for a week to see if we can able to reproduce the issue.
