  • Salesforce - Post Installation Assistance

    From the Appexchange, class library, Donor Maangement, and Events Management have all been downloaded, requesting assistance for post installation integration. I have provided 1 week account log-in access. Salesforce ID 00D36000000Kc5X. Thank you.

    We typically recommend using the organization's website address as the site address in Salesforce. Given this is something that cannot be changed (easily), once it has been set we need your approval before clicking the agreed button.

    Is this OK to set up?

      I do not understand what you mean that we have not set-up the sites. Our Salesforce account is through the foundation and it is programmed under EquiForce. What sites do you mean? I was also not aware that another domain was necessary. Please clarify. I am very confused.

        Salesforce site is a feature of Salesforce. There is nothing to worry about. If you have event or using Autoresponder, the images need to be served from a site. Salesforce site sets that domain so you can use it.

        It is free and part of the installation. It is simply something you have not set up. If that name is OK we will set it up. Nothing to worry about or nothing that will cost you.. just something that needs to be done.

          Ok yes I am ok with this, but just very confused as this was never mentioned in all of the programming nor in the instructions with Click and pledge. I will also respond to your previous post accepting.

                Establishing the connection is not working. After I click verify it takes me to Salesforce login screen I select my name and then the click and pledge integration screen appears again, I click verify and it goes back to the salesforce login. Something is not correct.

                  Please try to re-establish the connection now. Please note that, you need to establish the connection with Salesforce user who is System Administrator profile.

                    Thank you. I am the Administrator, I wasn't being taken to the screen to allow, but when I logged-in this morning next to Salesforce in 3rd Party Integrations it indicates Active, so I assume everything is good.

                        I tried to connect again just now and this time I did receive the screen to allow, which I did and the screen did indicate that I was connected. I was returned to a screen that had a verify button which I clicked, but keep being returned to the Salesforce log-in and then back to the verify again. Under 3rd Party Integrations, Salesforce Connection indicates active. Am I connected now? Do I need to do this connection every time I log-in or is this permanent now?

                          Yes, you are connected now and good to go. You need to re-establish the connection only if you upgrade to newest versions of our apps, otherwise no need.
