  • So Many Emails Help!

Hi we are having some major issues. Our donors are receiving emails every 3 hours when Click and Pledge tries to post the transactions into Salesforce. We've also removed the email addresses to try and stop the madness. The autoresponder log does not show all the emails that were sent either. They all have this error as well:

Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY, npo02.OpportunityRollup: execution of AfterInsert

caused by: System.AsyncException: Future method cannot be called from a future or batch method: npo02.OpportunityRollups.rollupContactsandHousehol dsForTrigger(Set<Id>)

    (npo02)
    : []

Please help us remedy this issue! Feeling helpless over here.

    Thanks!

    Good day LYS

Anytime you notice something that is happening with such regularity it means there is a scheduled job that is running - that kind of regularity is always a scheduled job.

I disabled the maintenance for now so your donors do not receive any emails until you resolve the issue. Our system tries to fix errors when your instance encounters and issue. In this case NPSP is having an issue and is generating an error. Our system reposts the data to resolve it, but NPSP grabs it again and stops it.

If you see the error message:

    HTML Code:
Insert failed. First exception on row 0; first error: CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY, npo02.OpportunityRollup: execution of AfterInsert

caused by: System.AsyncException: Future method cannot be called from a future or batch method: npo02.OpportunityRollups.rollupContactsandHousehol dsForTrigger(Set<Id>)

    (npo02)
    : []
the message clearly states what the issue is.

Are you still on NPSP 2? Salesforce no longer supports NPSP 2 as they are now on NPSP 3 and the future method being used in NPSP 2 has been fixed in NPSP 3.

This is not something we can fix as it is not related to C&P but from the message I can see this is version 2.0 method.

Gotcha! Thanks for the help. I'll upgrade to NPSP 3 and hopefully that will fix all our issues. Sorry for double posting. I wasn't quite sure if the other post would be viewed. Thanks!
