  • Re-entering Donations into SF that failed on their 1st posting from C&P to SF

    We have a small percentage of transactions that, when posted to Salesforce, generate an error and do not create Donations in Salesforce.
    I tried the Post to Salesforce button in the Connect Login, but it did not seem to change things. The C&P Data record is in the system and viewable in SF.

    What steps can I take to generate Donation (Opportunity) records for this transaction?

    Our SF Org ID is 00DA0000000AmMJ. Access was granted. The example to see the issue includes:

      We reviewed your instance and found that you have installed "DupeCheck" and DupeBlocker app in your instance as well as you have mapped custom questions on Contact object which is causing the issue to create the opportunity:

      You need to either remove the above mapping from C&P Settings >> Custom Question Mapping or disable the settings under DupeCheck and DupeBlocker for Contact object.

      However, we noticed that you are many versions behind. We highly recommend you to upgrade to latest version of our app which may fix many issues. If you would like us to upgrade, please let us know and we will take care of the rest.

        As for upgrading, please help. I already granted access for the week. The information is in a previous Post. I will have the DupeCheck/Blocker removed. I would like to understand how we can reprocess these transactions. Thx

          We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

          It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the portal & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.
