  • Contacts not assigned to Opportunity

    I have a Connect campaign and a C&P Event that are both having the same issue. Both are not assigning the contact to the opportunity when it is created, the contact is blank. And example of the Connect opportunity is https://na17.salesforce.com/006o000000NS1ZA and an event opportunity is https://na17.salesforce.com/006o000000NRmMr. Here is another opportunity, tied to my account, that can be used for testing and reposting purposes.

    Also, if I can request in the same topic, I would like to upgrade our Org to the latest release. I have granted login access and our Org ID is 00Do0000000KqQt.

    After careful review of the posted opportunities we noticed that you are referring to a different Contact field which is apparently set up by your organization.

    By default Salesforce does not have a Contact field on Opportunity. We have added a field, namely the C&P Contact in which we save the Contact ID and that field is identified on the images.

    The field you are having an issue with is the one that is shown below and appears to have been set up by Sputnik.

    That field is not updated by C&P and as such we do not know what it is supposed to have as it is not part of our package.

      We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

      It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the portal & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.
