When creating a gift via SF Virtual Terminal, the campaign never makes it over to the Transaction and if a recurring gift, it never makes it to the C&P Recurring record. Even though campaign is specified in C&P Data XML (though it seems in 2 different places between web an Salesforce VT), it's not in the Transaction or the Recurring record. It works fine from web forms, regardless of if it's a single or recurring transaction. The opportunity gets the campaign just fine.
The campaign on recurring gifts especially is useful in reporting on which campaigns led to recurring gifts.
Follow up question while it gets fixed: Will future opps have the campaign, even though the C&P Recurring record doesn't have it? Where does the campaign get pulled from on future recurring transactions?
