  • Autoresponder won't send

    I had a donation come through earlier today order # 1610251531518068797 I can't seem to get the autoresponder (research template) to go out. I checked all the C&P data (sku) and everything looks right. I even reposted it along with trying to just resend the autoresponder with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Please use the proper channel for posts related to Salesforce. You have posted this to the API channel and your question is related to Salesforce. I will move this to the Salesforce channel.

                correct that is the autoresponder. Is it because it is set for recurring as well?

                  It is important that you note the "(AND)" text before each condition. Given the AND condition the only time this email will be sent is when ALL the AND conditions are true.

                  So the transaction that will receive this autoresponder has to be:
                  • Has to be done with the selected credit cards
                  • Has to be an Authorized transaction
                  • Has to be a recurring transaction
                  The Order Number you have posted is: 1610251531518068797 and is NOT a recurring.

                  Given the transaction is NOT a recurring the autoresponder will NOT be sent as is defined by the "Research Email" settings.

                  Hope that answers your question.

                    That's what i thought the issue was. I wish there was a way to make that AND statement an OR statement, but that's another forum Thanks for your help.

                      We actually have set forums - In the forum we have set products. The API channel is the SOAP service and our API platform. Salesforce questions should post to the Salesforce list of channels. We have a channel for the donor management, one for the Event and one for the API Class Library and one for upgrade request.

                      The granular channels helps with finding related questions. If you have an event question and want to see what others have posted the Salesforce Event Management is where you go to see the posts. Naturally questions regarding each product need to be posted in the channel to help others also review the questions.

                      As for the AND or OR. The conditions will become quite complex and Salesforce throws exception errors. The easiest way to do what you want is to simply clone what you have and make one of the templates for recurring and one for straight payment. Two templates will do what you want.

                        We have upgraded your Salesforce instance as requested.

                        It is absolutely important that you re-establish connection between Click & Pledge and Salesforce. With this update C&P Accounts are no longer needed to be added to Salesforce as the connection will automatically add the required information to Salesforce. It is extremely important that you login to the portal & re-establish connection. You may see that your account is already connected but this does not mean the new information has posted to Salesforce. With this release 2 more variables are added to Salesforce with each account and as such it is important that you login and set up the connection again for all your connected accounts.

                          I confuse myself with my questions and where they fall on the forum. I was worried that with our custom form (which we are having you update) that something might have been wrong with it. Any way... You guys might want to look at the slideshow for reestablishing the connection with SF. The slide that shows how to get to the 3rd integration is confusing. You show the "orange dot" on (I don't know what that orange dot is but it confuses the hell out of me) I had to turn the "orange dot" off to access that integration. Just a thought.... Thanks again for your help!

                            Please feel free to let us know what changes in the manual and instructions will make them easier to follow. It is really hard for us not to know what we know and as such what we take for granted at times is not all that clear for others.
