  • Processing Temporary Contacts is stuck

Hello. I chatted with Kamran today during office hours and he suggested I post my problem here.

I can no longer process temporary contacts, as every temporary contact suggests the same record with which to merge, but it's not only incorrect and there is no way to unselect this record, but it's also the same record across all temporary contacts. I saw a similar issue posted by someone else, and did try reposting any transaction errors in Connect transactions, but that didn't seem to do the trick.

The contact record that seems to be gumming up the works, Robert F., has a recurring transaction but also has several declined and other successful transactions, which is making it more difficult for me to figure out which record/transaction is causing the troubles. I've attached a screenshot of the bottom of the suggested temporary contact.

    Thanks.

    Good day blatka

We reviewed the case and are a bit puzzled by this recurring record:

This record does not have any Order Numbers and as such is causing the issue. Has this record been manually created? This entry had no transactions, no opportunities and no order number. How has it been created? this is quite puzzling since we could not have possibly created this.

We deleted this record as it was an orphaned record with no parent and as such was generating an issue with the contact.

All should be OK now. Please let us know how that record was created as we are still investigating this.

We didn't create this manually. As I mentioned, it seems this guy was having troubles making his donation, as there were a number of declines associated with the transaction. All of our donations and products are done via woocommerce. The recurring info is part of the C&P gateway.

        Good day blatka Simon

I am not sure I follow your post. There is no way (that we can possibly imagine) that the following can be true for our posts:

The recurring ID is NOT a C&P recurring ID and the Order Number is Text.

        See the details:

The dates for these transactions is set to 1899. There is absolutely no way that we can have such a transaction dated back to 1899. Not sure credit cards or Internet was available back in 1899?

        1899 in pictures: https://www.google.com/search?q=1899..._AUIBigB&dpr=1

I hope you see why we are confused.

Looks like these transactions were from when we had Common Ground back in 2014 - before we transitioned to C&P.

We did recently update our NPSP which was quite out of date. Maybe that triggered the Falk post to do something.
