  • Report Batch process fails if using 2-digit ISO country codes on contact

    Hi-

    We were testing out the new report batch processing and hit an issue. Our contact records use ISO country codes, which can be 2 or 3 characters. The contact we tested has the country value of "CA" for Canada. When running the batch upload based on a report, it returns an error:

    The 'urn:APISchema.xsd:BillingCountryCode' element is invalid - The value '' is invalid according to its datatype 'NormalizedString' - The actual length is less than the MinLength value.Xml Error

    Good day Perc-BRC :

    Can you synchronize the country and state/province database, at C&P Settings > Countries & States, and then test.

    Hope that will solve the issue.

      Hi- If they are using the gravity forms integration on their site and displaying full country names their for their users, will setting C&P in Salesforce to use country codes cause a problem?

          Once you synchronize the country and state/province database, at C&P Settings there will be NO issues in both the conditions.

            Hi- Sorry, but that didn't work. I synchronized already and left the setting at Full name, but it still returns the error when trying to use the Report Batch function on contacts that have the country codes in their mailing address. Any ideas? Thanks!

                Report: Declined Monthly Last Week
                Transaction to test: 1681513463588452048989 (yes, this is a declined transaction, we're testing if we can re-try declined transactions from monthly gifts once in a batch before calling people for new cards--it is balking on the country code and not even trying to post a new transaction however)

                  Good day @Perc-BRC
                  Please note that as of now we are not supporting Batch Report for declined transactions. Hopefully in upcoming release we are going to exclude the declined transaction while processing the Batch Report. However, would you please sort the report with Authorized transaction and try to Batch Report and let us know what you see.
