  • Inconsistent Donation Type for Recurring Installments

    The latest installment for a recurring donation has created an opportunity record that is slightly different from the other installments. First, I see the donation Type field is not set. For prior donations it was set as Recurring. Second, the donation name does not include "Recurring" as it did previously. I don't believe that any settings were changed, but I could be mistaken. I've seen this for a couple of different recurring donations. Where can I look to see how the donation Type and Name fields are being set for recurring donations?

    We are not passing any values to the "Type" field under opportunity nor that field belongs to C&P.

    Regarding the opportunity name, we have an option to customize the opportunity name based on SKU under C&P Settings > Opportunity > Customize Name. But while reviewing we didn't find such settings in your instance. Have you or any one in your organization removed that?

    However, you may customize the opportunity name based on SKU. Please refer to the following link:
