Fake receipts going out

  • Fake receipts going out

    After I last updated, our donors have been getting upwards of 50 emails that look like C&P receipts but that have fake amounts on them. There is no record of any of them in the transactions. I'm cc'd on the emails, and my mail host is marking these emails as suspicious. Is there a known problem, and has anyone else been dealing with this?

    I am sorry but I am a bit confused about this post. Your message has been posted to the API platform channel. Is this a form you have created using our open API?

    Do you have a link to the form and also please submit an image of the emails you are receiving so we can review.

      I couldn't figure out where else to post it. Please move it to wherever makes more sense.

      I don't know where they are coming from, but they are dated 2013 so my predecessor may have created something back then. I'm not sure how to find the source. Click image for larger version

          I've given you login access for a week, and there are no order numbers. There are no records that any transactions have been made, donors are just getting receipt emails.

            We have reviewed your instance and the email you are referring to is NOT a system receipt but an Autoresponder that is being sent based on your conditions.

            It seems like NPSP is having an error and is causing the Maintenance to repost transactions only to be facing another error with NPSP.

            We have disabled the maintenance for now until you can resolve the issue you are having. Please see the error as shown in the C&P Data and shown above.
