Can I attach a PDF copy of the email to an auto-responder receipt?

Designer documentation says that I can attach a PDF copy of the email template to an auto-responder receipt email (second bullet below), but I don't see the checkbox in the Designer.

• PDF Attachment: a PDF file may be sent as an attachment with the email. Note the maximum size of the PDF file. (I see the button to upload a pdf file - it would be the same attachment for all emails).
• Select checkbox for a PDF copy of the email template to be sent as an attachment with the email. (I don't see this checkbox. That's the feature I'm looking for).

The option is the same PDF for all emails.

The copy of the email as PDF with merged fields is available. We had to take that option out since it was causing Salesforce runtime error limitations. I will ask for our training department to review the manual and remove that line from the manual. Would you please let us know where you have seen this feature in the manual?

When you say that "The copy of the email as PDF with merged fields is available" I assume you mean it is NOT available? Please confirm. And also, please confirm that the standard C&P receipt does support the copy of email as PDF. Is that the only way to get the copy of email as PDF?

Yes, it is not available as merge field since it is causing Salesforce runtime error limitations. Yes, standard API generic receipts are always include the PDF as an attachment to the receipt.
